Delivering a greener
Stockholm
In 2025, Prioritaire completed 30,730 deliveries with our own 100% fossil-free fleet. Every bicycle, every electric van, every biogas truck — purpose-built for sustainable urban logistics.

Our Green Fleet
18 vehicles, zero diesel. Every delivery powered by electricity, biogas, HVO100, or human energy.
Delivery Impact
30,730 deliveries across Stockholm, powered entirely by our own fleet. Here's how they break down.
The Emissions Gap
What a conventional diesel fleet would emit vs. what we actually emitted in 2025.

Our Journey to Net Zero
Beyond the Numbers
Sustainability isn't just about emissions. It's woven into how we operate every day.
Smart Routing
Our Opter-powered AI optimises every route, reducing empty mileage and consolidating deliveries. 66% of non-express orders are bundled with 1–2 other deliveries.
Circular Packaging
We prioritise recycled materials and reusable packaging solutions. Our goal is zero single-use packaging for regular clients by 2027.
Local Impact
18 employees based in Stockholm. Every delivery supports the local economy while reducing noise and air pollution in our city.
Data Security
GDPR compliant with ISO-certified partners. All delivery and customer data encrypted and managed by our IT partner House of Service.
Global Offset
All international shipments handled through partners are fully carbon offset via verified reforestation and renewable energy programmes.
Transparent Reporting
Annual environmental reports, public sustainability data, and open methodology. Our numbers are calculated, not estimated.
Methodology & Transparency
How we calculated these numbers, and what they include.
This report covers 30,730 deliveries completed between January 2 and December 31, 2025, using Prioritaire's own fleet only.
International and domestic deliveries handled by subcontractors or partners (FedEx, UPS, DHL, PostNord, etc.) are excluded. This reflects Prioritaire's direct operational emissions — Scope 1 and Scope 2.
Source data: Opter transport management system export, covering order date, vehicle type, service type, sender/receiver geozones, and calculated route distance.
| Vehicle Type | Count | g CO₂/km | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Electric Van | 6 | ~2 | Swedish electricity grid (7 g CO₂/kWh) × 0.25 kWh/km |
| Hybrid Van (PHEV) | 2 | ~40 | Real-world urban Stockholm usage, plug-in hybrid |
| Biogas Truck | 2 | ~20 | Certified Swedish biomethane, well-to-wheel |
| HVO100 Truck | 1 | ~30 | ~90% reduction vs fossil diesel (250 g/km baseline) |
| Bicycle / Cargo Bike | 6 | 0 | Zero direct emissions |
| Electric Motorbike | 1 | ~0 | Battery-electric, negligible grid emissions |
Fleet-weighted average for vans (BIL + SKAPBIL category): 75% electric, 25% hybrid = 11.5 g CO₂/km.
Fleet-weighted average for trucks (LASTBIL category): 2/3 biogas, 1/3 HVO100 = 23.3 g CO₂/km.
Total CO₂ = Σ (distance per vehicle category × emission factor per category)
| Category | Distance (km) | Factor (g/km) | CO₂ (tonnes) |
|---|---|---|---|
| BIL (electric/hybrid vans) | 145,943 | 11.5 | 1.678 |
| SKAPBIL (electric/hybrid vans) | 13,960 | 11.5 | 0.161 |
| LASTBIL (biogas/HVO100 trucks) | 25,144 | 23.3 | 0.587 |
| CYKEL (bicycles) | 30,603 | 0 | 0.000 |
| CARGO (cargo bikes) | 8,150 | 0 | 0.000 |
| Total | 223,800 | — | 2.426 |
Fossil baseline calculated using diesel emission factors: 170 g/km for vans, 250 g/km for trucks. Bicycle/cargo bike distances are included at the van rate (assuming they'd be done by van in a conventional fleet).
Per-delivery emissions: 2,426,000 g ÷ 30,730 deliveries = ~79 g CO₂. PRIO ETT (solo) deliveries bear full trip emissions (~125 g). Consolidated deliveries (avg 2.25 orders/trip) average ~56 g each.
- Distances are order-level (sender to receiver). Actual driving distances may differ slightly due to routing, deadhead mileage, and multi-stop optimisation.
- 458 orders (1.5%) had missing distance data and are excluded from distance/emission totals but included in delivery counts.
- The 2022 baseline (46.9t) was calculated under a different scope that included some partner volumes. The 93.9% figure compares 2025 own-fleet emissions to a theoretical fossil baseline for the same delivery volume.
- Scope 3 emissions (vehicle manufacturing, infrastructure, upstream energy) are not included in this report.
- Swedish electricity emission factor based on Energimyndigheten / IEA data for the Nordic grid mix.
